Rachel Letch has one main goal in the creation of her illustrations- to fill the viewer with a sense of awe, imagination, and departure from the world of the every day, into a place where a story lives and breathes.

For as long as she can remember, her palpable fascination with fantasy stories, historical artifact, fashion and antiquities, and of course, an absolutely magnetic pull toward the world of art have led her to create images that demand a story to be told.

Rachel graduated with honors Kansas State University and earned her MFA in Painting from the University of Kansas.

Rachel has a variety of experience teaching Drawing and Painting in graduate school and as an adjunct instructor at Kansas State University.  

She lives with her husband and wonderfully precocious daughter in Kansas City, Missouri.
